HPTA invited as a panelist at MPP Karpoche’s Tenants Town Hall

MPP Bhutila Karpoche hosted a tenant-focused town hall last May 29th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church on Humberside Avenue.

The town hall provided an opportunity for tenants to learn more about their rights, and to hear about the plight of other renters across our city. Our Vice President, Alex, explained the work involved in performing reasonable checks for AGIs that we receive from landlords. The Town Hall also amplified the efforts of HPTA and the effective startegy we employ in contesting AGIs at the LTB.
