History

The HPTA was created in the 1980s to represent the local rental community in matters of maintenance and above guidelines rent increases. At that time, all properties were owned and managed by one company. Today, multiple entities operate the residencies of our members. For almost 40 years, our volunteers work hard to ensure that tenant/members are treated with respect and rent increases remain manageable.
