Some Vertica tenants have received notice of an AGI application by their landlord.

As discussed at our last public meeting on AGI, we have retained the services of a paralegal to fight this rent increase.

The HPTA will meet with management to negotiate a decrease, and will be present at the hearing to represent all Vertica tenants affected by this AGI.

Section 37 will be used to scrutinize the application to ascertain what agreement Vertica has with the City of Toronto, as this landlord is building two condominiums facilities nearby.
