Minto Plans to Help Save Ash Trees

Congrats to Minto for treating the ash trees on the High Park Village property to save them from the Emerald Ash Borer. The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive pest which the City of Toronto and LEAF (Local Enhancement for Appreciation of Forests) have reported will kill literally every ash tree in the city that goes untreated in the next two years. While Toronto is working hard to treat trees on city-owned property before the end of August, private property owners must take action and pay for treatment on their own.

Minto has taken a great step in speaking with an arborist and arranging for treatment for High Park Village trees to save them. This will help to keep the mature ash trees on High Park Village property alive.
